  • Opinions of doctors and patients on acupuncture

  • Professor Zbigniew Garnuszewski, who advocated and promoted acupuncture in Poland, pointed out that acupuncture is effective in the treatment of many diseases, is cheap and does not require many expensive tools, and helps patients without the use of pharmacological agents. Garnuszewski also praised the effectiveness of acupuncture in the fight against cigarette, alcohol and drug addiction. The professor was the president of the Polish Acupuncture Society, he founded the Capital Center of Acupuncture.

  • In his book, Acupuncture Treatment, Dr Henryk Operacz emphasized the value of this technique as a therapy derived from natural medicine, free from chemical pharmacological agents. He also drew attention to the important value of acupuncture, which is to stimulate the body to fight the disease and to release its natural regenerative forces.

  • Bow. med. Mieczysław Szczczeswski also propagated this Chinese technique. In the book Fundamentals of Acupuncture, he admitted that therapy is extremely effective and its use allows to reduce the amount of drugs administered to patients. The doctor emphasized that it is impossible to scientifically explain the operation of all acupuncture analgesic mechanisms, but it can not be ignored because of its positive impact on patients and bringing undoubted relief to those suffering.

  • The World Health Organization (WHO) has officially approved acupuncture, recognizing it as an effective method of alleviating the effects of chemo- and radiotherapy, treating allergies, colic; face, head, knee, back, neck pain, nausea and many more. Acupuncture is currently used all over the world.

  • Acupuncture has also been adopted in Poland and is on the list of Pain Clinics of the National Health Fund.

  • Acupuncturist Hugh MacPherson, working for the University of York, admits that there is evidence that acupuncture helps remove chronic pain and is effective in fighting depression.

  • Dr. Andrew J. Vickers of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, published a scientific paper in which he confirmed that there is evidence that acupuncture treats chronic pain. According to him, acupuncture not only improves mood, but above all forces the body to heal itself. About 40 people from around the world conducted the research.

  • In 2005, one of the articles in the medical journal Annals of Internalk Medicine admitted that acupuncture effectively treats chronic back pain, although there is no evidence that it is better than other, more conventional therapies.

  • The biggest Hollywood stars and most popular celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian, Sandra Bullock, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman, Mariah Carey and Sheryl Crow admit to using acupuncture treatments.

  • After a very serious car accident I suffered complete paralysis of the right side of the body. Conventional doctors said the condition would get worse and I would stop walking over time. Resigned, I gave up over a dozen acupuncture series. In the fourth series, a miracle happened and I slowly began to feel pain where there was paralysis. The state of paralysis was retreating from day to day, and today I can function normally. I'm glad there are still free media and I can tell my story here
