List of things to prepare before the visit:

  • Write down what the main reason for your visit is.
  • Make a list of questions you want to ask your doctor.
  • Write down what problems you have had recently (headache, muscle pain, fainting etc.), in what situations they appeared or worsened.
  • Make a list of your medications along with the dosage. Don’t skip over-the-counter medications like apap and ibuprom, and include herbs and dietary supplements as well.

What to take with you for the first visit?

  • ID card or other document with a photo.
  • Results of diagnostic tests, if any (e.g. X-rays, blood test results).
  • During the first visit, also the existing medical documentation.

During the visit to Prof. Enji

  • Start by telling your doctor what the main reason for your visit is.
  • Ask straightforward and talk openly about your doubts. You have the right not to know that the doctor is a professional.
  • Tell your doctor what medications you are taking. If you are allergic to any medications, please tell which ones.
  • Discuss the management plan with your doctor. Ask if and when you should report for your next appointment.
  • Make sure you understand your doctor’s recommendations.
  • If you received a referral for research, ask how to prepare for it.

  • Follow your doctor’s recommendations.
