  • Fertility

  • In prof. Enji's acupuncture office, you will receive support throughout the ART / IVF cycle, up to the blood test after embryo transfusion (ET). Your acupuncture specialist will thoroughly analyze your health history and current situation before planning an in vitro fertilization treatment plan for infertility. Of course, it will be required to perform a series of acupuncture body treatments using very thin needles. For example, fertility acupuncture points are located on the lower back, lower abdomen and legs. There are also common points on the head, neck, upper back and shoulders that promote relaxation, as well as certain points on the ear that are used to alleviate hormonal imbalances. Usually, an acupuncture infertility treatment plan is combined with a Chinese herbal medicine as an adjunct.

  • An exemplary treatment plan in the IVF cycle may look something like this: Initial acupuncture therapy (1-5 treatments) and Chinese herbs prescribed within 2 weeks of the onset of menstruation. Then continue the herbs and the ongoing series of acupuncture once a week, including two special acupuncture treatments on the day of embryo transfer (ET) - one before ET and the other after, both ideally within 2 hours of transfer. Treatment should be continued until the blood test is confirmed after about 2 weeks. After successful transfer and implantation, we will continue to support you in the peaceful atmosphere of our clinic to help you enjoy a comfortable and healthy pregnancy.
